Data protection
Who is responsible for your data in eQuantic Space, the rights the GDPR and the LGPD give you, and how to use them.
This page summarises how personal data is handled in eQuantic Space. The full terms are in eQuantic Tech's Privacy Policy, which prevails over this summary.
Who is responsible for what
- Your account. eQuantic Tech, Lda (Porto, Portugal), the company behind eQuantic Space, is the controller of account, marketing and support data.
- What you put in eQuantic Space. For the content of your workspaces, such as repositories, pipelines, logs and documents, your organisation is the controller. eQuantic Tech processes that content on its behalf, as processor, under a Data Processing Agreement.
- A self-hosted installation. When eQuantic Space runs on your own infrastructure, that content stays there, under your organisation's responsibility, and eQuantic Tech does not receive it. When you request a serial, eQuantic Tech receives the details you fill in on that form.
eQuantic Space is governed by the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and, for Brazilian operations, by the LGPD (Lei 13.709/2018). Where the two differ, the stricter standard applies.
